Nintendo Wii: Redefines Gaming
Out of the billions of people on earth, it is probably easier to tell you who has not heard of the Nintendo Wii. The Nintendo Wii redefines gaming, with its new motion activated controls the Nintendo Wii takes fun to a whole new level.
The Wii has more accessories than any of its competitors, with components like the Nunchuck Controller, Gun Controller, tennis Rackets, and Golf club controller that comes with Sports Package. The Wii is an engineering marvel for geeks, gamers, nerds, and the rest of the world alike. This console is designed with you in mind.
It features are easy to grip and hold controllers with wrist straps to avoid accidental drops and damage to the controls. The Controllers have a retro NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) look with a new futuristic feel that makes the Wii even more astounding. This new Nintendo is great for people of all ages that would like to burn calories while having fun. With games like boxing, football and many of the other sports related games you will easily find yourself breaking a sweat.
In conjunction with its other fat burning games, Nintendo has just recently launched a new peripheral to add to the list called the Wii Fit. In believing that good exercise helps to create great strength and balance, this balance board along with exercise can be done with and without this console. It will help you keep track of your weight loss. By simply inputting your height and weight in to the gaming system it calculates your BMI (body mass index), which is important if you are really serious about your health.
Although there are a lot of pros to this gaming console there are some draw backs as well. This very slim Nintendo does not have the high end graphics that the Xbox 360 or the PS3 (Play Station Three) has to offer. It does not play CD’s (Compact Disk) or DVD’s (Digital Video Disk). Which in both cases is a disappointment, there are also known issues with the controllers not holding a very long battery charge.
Despite these flaws the Nintendo Wii redefines gaming in a way never thought possible, from its motion activated controls, to its vast amount of accessories, and the ability to get the young and the young at heart up and off the couch. The Nintendo Wii gaming console has brought the fun back to video games, in the form of a worldwide motion activated phenomenon that is taking the world by storm.
Although Sony’s Play Station and Microsoft’s Xbox are still the leaders in the gaming world, Nintendo’s new ideas and concepts, are pushing their way up the charts at a rapid pace. Families and businesses around the globe have adopted the Wii as part of their weekly activity routines. The easy to use controls make this console greatly accepted by seniors and juniors everywhere. While burning calories has never been anything that most of us want to do, Nintendo has found a way to get the whole world up and moving around again.
